THE ADVENTURE BEGAN
With a truck, a business plan, and a whole lot of sun-up to late-night hysteria
Kay-Tee Olds, MBA, is an entrepreneur and marketing innovator. Her experience in sales management, program development, and strategic collaborations at non-profit organizations and for-profit media groups, prepared her for the current role of serial entrepreneur. As an instructor and professional speaker, she educates audiences on topics related to entrepreneurship, marketing, organizational leadership, and women in business. Her speaking engagements range from continuing education conferences to workshops hosted by Fortune 500 companies and national associations. Kay-Tee is a part-time faculty member of the mobile food entrepreneurship program at Madison College in Wisconsin and was responsible for authoring the curriculum for its Food Truck Startup and Management courses.
After founding several other businesses and brands, Kay-Tee started The Rodeo Wagon which as her first venture in the mobile food service industry. Currently an award-winning, full service catering company, the Rodeo Wagon found its roots as a food truck specializing in delicious fare inspired by The South. Now, in lieu of its regular street service, the crew participates in high volume seasonal events and festivals, in addition to servicing its ongoing military agreement and various special events catering contracts.
Olds’ experience in business leadership and strategic marketing is driven by her aspiration to disrupt the market while making a significantly positive impact on the community. As such, she recently served in executive leadership positions on the Board of Directors for REACH-A-Child, Professional Development Council of WI and Dane Buy Local. Currently, Olds is also a board member of March of Dimes Wisconsin, and an advisory council member of Wisconsin Women Business Initiative Corporation.
Kay-Tee recognizes she overcame the odds through various chapters of life to build her portfolio and refine her voice of influence, so she shares her experiences and content with a mission to educate and inspire other leaders.
